Over/Under Sports Bar: Reviews & Ratings
Sunday funday is on a different level here! They bring the vibes of a Vegas Sportsbook right here to Chicago! You can place bets and enjoy drinks along with food specials like their $4, 6, 8 and $10 happy hour deals or the $8 and $10 large drinks. There are tvs EVERYWHERE so you’re able to not miss a game and watch multiple sports at once. My brother and I tried a few menu items, but our favorites were definitely the wings with the Dragon sauce (sweet chili, sesame, soy and ginger) and the sautéed shrimp with potatoes. Be sure to try their cocktail called “Uncut Gem” and check out the Red Zone room! Enjoy!
Over/Under Sports Bar is the ultimate sports haven with 40+ screens and 80 feet of live sports news tickers. The menu is a winner, offering delightful wings, tenders, and a standout Sauteed Shrimp. The wings with Dragon Sauce are a personal favorite, delivering the perfect sweet, sour, and spicy combo. The Montana Burger is a Western delight with double prime beef patties, bacon, BBQ sauce, cheddar, and crispy onion rings on a pretzel bun. Despite being a sports bar, the food here is far from disappointing. It's the perfect spot for a game night with good company and flavorful eats.
Went in for a couple post dinner drinks and got Jacob behind the bar. Great service and attention to all tables as the only one in there and was always certain to make sure our drinks were topped off. Great bar to stop at for some good drinks and plenty of sports on the TVs all around the bar
Over/Under was one of my favorite stops during my Chicago trip. The bar is welcoming, inviting, and full of life. There or numerous TVs showing games and odds for every event. The owner was friendly and welcoming, and provided us a tour of the space. There is a front bar, back bar and a more private extra area, possibly for events. The food was good but a touch expensive in my opinion. They sold $8 22oz domestic taps, which thought was a good deal. I’d go back to watch any sporting event and hang out with fellow sports/betting fans.
Incredible place to catch “the game”. Ed, Jacob, Tim and staff all made our experience. Incredible. We had a party of 12 and they couldn’t have handle it better. We will be back - HIGHLY RECOMMEND
There are a lot of bars in Chicago to watch sports. There are especially a lot of bars in the Lincoln Park/Lakeview area to drink and watch sports as well. However, not many of them have an great sports and betting centric focus like Over/Under Sports Bar. First, this a sports fan’s dream. While it may look small from out the outside, the bar has three large rooms. On the night I went, I was in the front room. I went for Monday Night Football, and the experience was great. The entire place, including the other rooms are lined with a lot of TVs, and they playing all sorts of sports. I also watch playoff baseball that night. I’m not a gambler, but if you are you will feel right at home. They even have game odds posted on big screen TVs throughout the bar. Second, their food was amazing. With all TVs and the fun atmosphere it would be easy to punt on the food quality (pun intended), but they didn’t. The night I went, ordered the Kingpin cocktail, a Cheeseburger, the Montana (a specialty cheeseburger), chorizo queso dip and the habbeque wings. My favorites were the Montana and the habbeque wings. If you like spicy, you’ll love both of these dishes. The Montana featured spicy Jack cheese and some sort of hot sauce with two hamburger Patties. The habbeque was the perfect a cross between bbq and hot wings. Third, the service was great. My waitress was friendly, refilled my water many times and brought out the food quickly. In sum, this a must visit bar for the sports fan.
Such a great location for an awesome sports bar, prob 30 TVs with every game on. Also a ton of opportunities to bet on several games with stats on a few TVs, also a ticker that runs over top of the bar. We were just there for a few beers but the cheese curds were awesome,(pic attached) can't wait to come back and try some of their other food options. Only thing that sucks is they removed the darts in the back, (when it was hidden Shamrock) and now there are way more tables and TVs in the back.
Over/Under Sports Bar is a great spot! They have an awesome selection of beers and the atmosphere is just right — lively but still comfortable. The place was clean, including the bathrooms, which says a lot about how well it’s kept up. What really made the visit stand out was our server, Megan. She was absolutely top-notch. Megan was friendly, attentive, and made me and my friends feel genuinely welcomed. You could tell she cared about every table she served. Overall, just an amazing experience. Can’t wait to come back!
